The other day I saw this TikTok account with 'Cottage Core Check'. It had the music from the intro of 'Over the Garden Wall' (which is a very good cartoon btw). The aesthetic was so nice. Her username is @sorablu. Mushrooms, chickens, forest stuff. Ahh.
I wonder if I will ever get to accomplish my dream to live in the forest.

2019 In Review

I was looking around here and realized I'd written a 2018 review and so I should probably consider writing a 2019 review too.

It's difficult to write with a lot of enthusiasm because I am dealing with emotional difficulties. I've faced a lot of death in the past few years and now everything is tinted. It's like it's been slowing building up. My perception of reality has changed. The state of my life is good though, quite good. I currently do not have any great difficulties although uncertainty of the future follows me around.

Last year, I wrote that I should like 2019 to be a sort of feeler year but it seems I am left with more questions than answers.

Anyway~

So what do I hope for 2020? I hope that it will go smoothly and that I will be able to transition easily to my future home. I'm moving to a new city farther than I'd like from my family. I'll be gone for at least two years. I hope I can begin to accomplish my dreams. I also hope I can continue discovering my inner artist.

Trying to be Creative Again

I've been quite busy, but hopefully things are slowing down now. I have finished all my applications! I hope they are all well received. 🙏

I am attempting to try and get back to being creative. I started a secondary Instagram a while ago but I haven't started to really focus on it until recently. I enjoy photography, but it is quite difficult having myself as the model. 😖 I also made a third Instagram account actually! The name is a joke/play on the name of my secondary account. Not sure what I will do with this new account yet. It's set to private for now.

I'm also trying to work on my book. Trying to write an epic is difficult ^^' Right now, I am just focusing on backstory/lore as well as formatting the story arc. Also drawing the characters. I would like to also do some background/landscape drawings as well. 

To be honest, its a real struggle to become creative again. I spent so much time focused on school that I didn't have much time for hobbies. 

I also finally bought the Yolanda Berry River JSK!

I would love to find the head scarf that goes with this. 

I am also thinking about selling or trading my Milky-Chan OP. I just don't really like the way it fits on me? Which is odd because I had it in black before and it looked totally fine. If I could trade it, I'd like to get the Ribbon JSK. However! Every time I look at the dress, I feel like I just don't want to part with it :/

Getting the Dress & Things I Missed Out On

I did the reservation for BTSSB Millefeuille JSK in Bright Green x Ivory! I have wanted this dress for such a long time, holy crap. I can't wait to get it and try it out. I also purchased the Princess Drop head dress in the same colourway. Wooo!

This amazing unknown old school Angelic Pretty dress which was listed for an amazing price. My thought process was that if it's still there when I get paid, then it was meant to be. But alas! It wasn't meant to be. *I cry* But now I can immortalize it here in this blog post! Do you know what the name of this dress is? Please tell me, I'd like to know!

Well, I saved my money... and it went towards buying the Millefeuille JSK instead!

Something interesting, is the similarities between the Millefeuille JSK and that unknown AP JSK. They're both tiered and they also both have that corset lacing going down the front. Is there a name for that style of corset lacing? I am also wondering how ivory the Millefeuille JSK is. In the photos, it looks pretty off-white to me.

It's not a good photo but I'm kinda lazy, sorry.
