I really miss the days of LiveJournal. ;^; Things felt more spontaneous. On Blogger, I feel like posts need to be premeditated and thought out. Maybe I just feel that way.
You know, it was through the same LiveJournal user that I discovered veganism and lolita fashion. I didn't even know her, she was a friend of a friend.
I wonder what it's like to be a young person now, growing up with the internet the way it is...
I understand what you mean. LiveJournal was more like a forum and much closer to almost chat, while blog platforms like Blogger have always tried to imitate diaries and magazines, so they're not as immediate. Maybe if you treated your blog more like a diary, where you're writing just for yourself, it'd take off some of the pressure of feeling like you have to curate and plan things?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment :) Yes, I think I might do something more like that. It would make this blog more of an outlet for me, which I think I need. I should remember it's my own space and I can generally do what I want with it.
