To remedy this, I decided to purchase some outfits that could be worn as casual lolita (or maybe just harajuku fashion).
I aimed to purchase things that could be worn in a set so that it's easy to put on and go. As a university student in my final year, I don't have a lot of time this semester to be pondering on what to wear.
I bought the following skirts: Promenade de Paris, Toy Parade, Toy Fantasy and Fancy Box. Plus matching shirts and socks.
And finally, I've started to wear them! ~ ^o^ ~
It's funny that everything I'm wearing (except the purse) is from AP, but this outfit isn't really lolita, is it? The hood of this parka is awesome. The ears are plushy and the brim of the hood is frilled. It resembles the bonnet of the bunny!
This necklace reminds me of why I loved Angelic Pretty so much back in 2011 when I was really getting into lolita fashion. The glitter makes me feel nostalgic!
The piece of paper here is because these shoes are starting to get a bit dirty on the bottom which is a good thing because it means I'm using them! I'd like to get a similar striped shirt in lavender to go with this outfit. (since this one blue doesn't really go with the outfit). These are just two recent casual outfits. I also wore my Promenade de Paris back in July when I visited the AP Paris store and I wore it super casual! Running shoes and a pink baseball hat. I kinda felt like it gave off Pokemon trainer vibes. :P
Never before have I considered buying a salopette, but today I have been. It would be nice to have something different from the skirts.
I hope that I can continue to keep wearing lolita or just kawaii fashion more often. I'm only going to live once and I want to be able to look at what I'm wearing and feel happy (which is I how I feel when I see myself in these outfits).
